Hello summer and Hello 2023 campers!
We know what comes after May: June! And we know what comes toward mid - June: YOU! –to camp! We are looking forward to having a FUN Summer with all of you! We are counting down the days and we know you are too!
Many of you will start on our first day of camp, Monday, June 14th! Others will start on one of the other days of our 12-week camp season. Regardless of when you’ll begin camp, we look forward to seeing and welcoming you in person to our summer program here at Little Dumplings Early Learning Center.
What is your favorite day camp memory? Maybe it is a field trip you took, a friend you made, a project you built or a counselor who you knew you'd always remember. We are honored to be able to help your children create their own memories year after year to last a life time! There is a lot to tell you about this coming summer.....we have an outstanding and exciting program full of specialty camp themes, science experiments, artists, crafts and much more planned!! If you are a returning “camper,” you know that we try to pack as many stimulating activities into the summer as possible!
So as not to overwhelm you, we have included a calendar and information about our fun themes, field trips, and learning activities that we have planned for your child. Please read through the packet. The packet has the information and calendar that you will need, as well as permission forms, waivers, and other pertinent information. Field trips take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If your child attends camp on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, it is mandatory for them to attend field trips and be in attendance from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm on these days, with an exception of those field trips that will take longer (see attached Field Trip Contact Information for times). Your counselors will also notify you in advance.
Enrollment paperwork, registration deposit and fees are due by March 27th to secure your child's spot. We are requiring all tuitions to be processed as an automated payment that is integrated into the ProCare Child Care Management system that allows you to pay your tuition and fees two ways: Recurring bank-to-bank transactions (EFT-ACH) and Credit Cards. Tuition Express or Cash are only the accepted form of payment. No Personal Checks. See office for Tuition Express Form. Tuition Express will automatically withdraw the full account balance on Monday mornings at 9:00am. All credit card & debit card transactions will be charged a 5% processing fee (no matter if it is a recurring weekly payment or a onetime payment). Field Trip payments will be pulled automatically following the payment plan schedule - May 1st, June 5th, July 3rd, and August 7th. The option to pay in full is also available.
On the first day of camp, your child should have with him/her two bottles of Aerosol Can of Sunscreen, one set of extra clothes, swimming suit, towel, a pair of flip flops for swimming days and water shoes for outdoor blacktop water play. We would prefer girls to wear two piece swim suits to assist them in the restrooms with ease while wearing jackets. All belongings should be labeled with his/her name on them, as sometimes children forget which items are theirs! Also we try to encourage your child to wear tennis shoes or other proper play shoes. Flip flops, crocs, jellies, and other forms of open-toed shoes are dangerous in an environment full of play and outdoor activities. Most importantly, come ready for fun and excitement.
